A boring and non consequential day (except maybe for the maddening too few
"elites" who don't live check to check, resource to resource, and actually amass equity
through profiting from me and billions of others doing exactly what I did today; provide my HUMAN RESOURCE for THEIR PROFIT.) But it is also a very telling picture. No less than 15 systems (didn't count family/social/economic order) were accessed just to make it through this un-lively day. Sure I laughed; got angry; hungry; had conversations; many thoughts; throughout the day, but i exchanged all my human resource solely for the BASIC means to allow the selling of my human resource tomorrow, and so on, indefinitely. Not to mention in the meanwhile I utilized systems ENTIRELY DESIGNED UPON ONE UNSHAKABLE PRINCIPLE: PROFIT. And that's PROFIT for OTHERS, not myself. Profit at the sake of all else. No matter the cost.
Obviously I can do better (truth be told, I actively do adopt as many mindful alternatives as possible.) I didn't ride a bike to work, although I surely could have (and should have), because driving was easier, because the profit structure is already in place for banks, car manufacturers, oil companies and government licensing & tax authorities to profit...but what was the real cost, since this established structure only yields to questions of monetary cost/profit, how many lives, human and animal; how much ecological detriment were incurred to facilitate the existence of a fossil fuel based transportation system? WHO IS STILL SO DAFT AS TO NOT PAY MIND TO THE CONSEQUENCES OF OUR ACTIONS? ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE ARE REASONABLE ALTERNATIVES THAT ONLY REQUIRE A CHANGE IN THE "EGO'S" PERCEPTION TO INSTITUTE THEM SUCCESSFULLY!!!
Essentially I willingly exchanged my Human Resource, for a predetermined and insultingly arbitrary monetary figure, all the while accessing systems DETRIMENTAL to not only MY HUMAN RESOURCE, but also DETRIMENTAL to the RESOURCES AND LIVELIHOOD OF THE EARTH. How is this logical?! How does this make sense to even the most cold rationalizing intellectual degenerates???? Yet any action against this system, against the grain of the economic/social order, is written off with slanderous ad hominem rhetoric. Hippie nonsense, socialist agenda, dissenters whining, granola eating dirt bag bumpkins living in squander raising their dirty kids to be worthless in society (do you think I'm being dramatic? Exactly how much is your human resource worth? $8 -$10/hr if you're lucky, $12 - $18 if you followed their rules correctly, salaried above $35K and you have most likely spent more than a few years doing what THE SYSTEM asked of you, but only to do the SAME THING as the minimum wage slave: sell your wellspring of nearly limitless Human Resource to someone else. Odds are for a face you'll never see. Someone profiting greatly, and using THEIR human resource to implement a vast network of systems to make the whole machine run more PROFITABLY. This is human? This is Humane!? I can tell you, I have a work ethic that would be an unsettling surprise to the staunchest of "conservative" mouthpieces. I've self taught myself any discipline/trade/skill needed in order to survive in this system.
